Age: looks to about 25/26. Is around 35 as of AC I believe.

Species: Human/Jenova spawn

Sexuality: It all depends on the situation at hand.

Appearance: Sephiroth stands at six foot one. He is slender built although not as weak as he might appear from the back. He carries himself well, back always straight. He has an almost feminine face yet somehow he gets away with it, maybe because there is nothing female about that look in his eyes. Emerald green flickers and glows softly and constantly. Framed by silver hair which falls down against his face in bangs. The hair is just below waist length and ends in a flame shape.
He usually wears black leather, coat, trousers, and rather arrogantly perhaps, the only armour under his coat are the thin straps across his chest.

Personality: Cold, distant, aloof, this man is all about appearance. About reputation. About his goals. Everything he does. He does for a reason. He Does have a standard of morals so to speak, however, such morals are only used when possible. If it becomes necessary to break such ideals to further his goals. He will do so. He will protect those he sees worthy of protection. At least to a point. Although always, his own goals, his own survival, is first in his mind. He tends to think before acting, and believes strongly in himself and his own wishes.

Abilities/Strengths:His own strength, he also has the ability to use fire to his own demands. He has speed, accurate hearing and vision thanks to the Mako and Jenova cells within him. Also with those who carry Jenova cells or are around those with Jenova cells in them, he can create an image of what has happened in his past in their heads His healing ability is exceptional. When he is wounded the Jnova cells and Mako work together to heal wounds in times that would not otherwise (in his world) be possible.

Weapons: Masamune. Fire magic. He has been trained in both sword fighting and hand to hand combat, although prefers the sword. He point blank refuses to use a gun or even to learn, seeing it as the cowards way and without honour of any sort.

Weaknesses: Water, closed in spaces (claustrophobia). needles, also, his biggest strengths, enhanced vision and hearing is also a downfall. Really bright lights.. shouting.. can and do hurt him, although he won't often show it. Perhaps though, for Sephiroth, his biggest mental weakness is his arrogance, he refuses to believe that anything is impossible for him or that anyone could be better than him. Although he has reason for such, it still doesn't always help him when things would be better accomplished as a group. Also when it comes to trusting others, although he often gives the appearance of doing so, in reality, he will not. Not even his brothers or Mother herself can be trusted. The only one he will rely on is himself.

History:
Most people know Sephiroth's history only too well, a child prodigy, becoming the youngest ever General of SOLDIER at the age of 16 raised to fight, to kill, and to obey, well two out of three ain't bad. For a few more years he remained in Shin-ra, although never really fitting in, a leader, one who could be trusted to keep his men alive if the slightest chance were there to make it possible, but not one to go out drinking with on an evening. He lived for training, for work, for fighting. Getting to know one or two along the way naturally but never enough people to say he was friendly.

Sometime during SOLDIER he was sent on a mission to Nibelheim with Zax supporting him as a First class SOLDIER and a Cloud Strife and one other as assistants of a sort. He was never to return to SOLDER again. He could hear Jenova, feel her, he went to her, and although they sorted out the problem with the reactor he also found out some truths which to him made things more than clear. The humans were traitors, he was not human. He was.. something else, something far more important. With the help of his Mother he would create a new world. Nibelheim was the first of the casualties.

Most know the rest of the story from there. Up until AC when once more he faced Cloud only to lose the fight and runaway retreat, vanishing and allowing Kadaj to drop to the ground.

It was shortly after that strategical retreat that he found himself once more a Soldier.
